Residential Care

Residential Care is provided to one or more children in a residential facility (house or unit) which is owned or leased by Safe Pathways and staffed by Residential Care Workers supervised by a Residential Care Coordinator.

Regardless of the staffing arrangements, these residential facilities are homes not institutions.

Residential facilities are physically and emotionally safe places, in which children experience a home environment, under the supervision of trusting and caring adults who provide supported access to services required to recover from past traumas.

Our Residential Care practices are informed by trauma, attachment and child development theories.
