ITEC Health is celebrating steady progress for its Mt Isa branch, bringing jobs and improved disability services to the region.
After just a few short months providing accommodation and in-house support for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), ITEC Health have proven their commitment to the local community.
ITEC Health general manager, Chris Anderson said he hoped to see more jobs, resources and opportunities for the district.
“We now employ five local staff in Mt Isa, with more jobs expected as the organisation continues to expand across Queensland,” Chris said.
“There will be opportunities for indigenous and non-indigenous persons to assist NDIS recipients and provide an improved level of disability care.
“It’s very important to us that we are contributing to regional communities while enabling more options for NDIS participants to choose the services that best suit them.”
Chris added that improving quality and service for people with a disability was a priority.
“We provide professional, quality and personalised services to our customers by continuously keeping in touch with their needs and tailoring our services accordingly,” said Chris.
“There are other established organisations who are registered with the NDIS and it’s important that we all collaborate and aim for the same goal.”
